As an HR Specialist you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties and will work closely with the Senior HR Management team in support of designated areas.

Responsibilities

  • Process all new hire offer paperwork, provide weekly audits and assist with national and international employee transfer processes
  • Responsible for distribution of offer paperwork to Payroll and relevant departments
  • Employee record filing and maintenance
  • Entering data and updates to various records in the HRIS
  • Responding to general employee inquiries and providing assistance resolving issues
  • Assisting with organizational space planning and logistics
  • Coordinate employee engagement and wellness initiatives and events
  • Create employee facing communication- posters and flyers
  • Provide a variety of administrative support to include travel back up, managing the vacation condo rental processes, updating shared drives, monitoring assigned inboxes and ordering required posters or supplies related to HR
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Human Resources or certification equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an office environment, preferably Human Resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Good organizational skills and high accuracy level
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Regular attendance and a regular work schedule is an essential function of this job
