We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic team players with excellent attention to detail to provide support for Yardi’s growing Sales Team!

What you will do

  • Monitor email communication with clients and other Yardi teams through a shared inbox
  • Assist in interpreting paperwork, including contracts, addenda, statements of work, and partering agreements
  • Field Sales Support queue requests entered by clients and other departments requiring drafting, support, and/or other sales-related needs
  • Handle phone calls from clients inquiring about online ordering and e-signature processes
  • Assist Sales in setting up and correcting sales opportunity data within the CRM system and provide backup for answering sales 800 number calls
  • Properly prepare sales opportunities for automated drafting
  • Draft contracts and addenda for Yardi products using prescribed templates and guidelines
  • Review and analyze contract content for appropriate terms (including legal and payment terms) to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies
  • Work with sales, legal, and accounting to establish and/or monitor acceptable deviations in standard terms and conditions
  • Ensure proper approval and tracking of non-standard terms and conditions
  • Review the work of fellow team members
  • Provide instruction to fellow team members about processes involving ancillary products, complex email or sales support requests, and new team procedures
  • Participate on side projects and tasks assigned by manager
  • Be part of a great team and collaborate with Sales Support team members
  • Manage the approval, signing, and processing of legal documents
  • Track and update team-wide processing for assigned months
  • Verify client paperwork and price card to complete license file and accounting audits to ensure accurate licenses and invoices are provided to clients, updating price card when necessary

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 1+ years of contract or legal/sales support experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including via phone
  • Solid grammar, spelling, and composition skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to provide great customer service
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and to collaborate with a group
  • Basic math skills (e.g., calculate fees, prorate credits)
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think critically to discern and understand legal and technological terminology
