The Senior Account Executive, Investment Management will be responsible for a regional territory, selling Yardi solutions to the real estate investment management industry. This will involve approximately 50% travel. You will be expected to shine in prospecting, self lead generation and marketing activities using telephone, onsite and on-line presentations, webinars, e-mail interaction and conference participation. Primary directive is to gain net new Yardi customers, starting with prospecting via cold calling and onsite visits to open up new opportunities for productsolutions. Become technically familiar with all of the productsolutions, the competition and be excellent at promoting company products and solutions. You must be comfortable interacting with executive level personnel in large to mid-sized real estate investment management companies and C-level targets in the real estate arena, building strong relationships to further your lead generation.


The Senior Account Executive, Investment Management will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Establish a strong pipeline for company's products and services in order to increase revenue
  • Establishing a strong sales pipeline, sales forecasts and updating accounts to support revenue growth
  • Create a sales strategy for each prospect
  • Assemble presentation teams and strategy for onsite meetings and demonstrations
  • Review pricing and create pricing strategies
  • Assist in developing and implementation of marketing materials and programs to sell our software and solutions as necessary
  • Work with our software partners and through them to the end user as appropriate
  • Handle all the contracts and paperwork for their sales
  • Provide market and customer feedback on products and services to product management and development organizations.

**This position will require up to 50% travel**

This position will require the following background and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+years of successful sales experience managing and developing a sales territory
  • Solid knowledge base in sales and ability to apply basic sales principles (i.e. lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, account management and closure)
  • Ability to effectively execute sales strategies using a consultative approach and relationship building techniques
  • Ability to interface with all levels within the client organization to include individual properties, large portfolios and other senior leadership in large to mid-sized companies
  • Strong ,engaging presentation skills and ability to demonstrate product value
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to internally motivate, work interdependently, and also work effectively with a team
  • Ability to develop and maintain solid client relationships
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate technical products
  • Prior experience entering data into a CRM system to support up to date client contact and information
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Prior background in software sales, property management or accounting systems desirable
  • Understanding of the real estate investment industry and the business of managing such portfolios and properties
