Residential Smart Home (IoT) Associate Technical Account Manager

Associate Technical Account Managers at Yardi will provide consultative, implementation and technical support to a group of assigned Yardi clients in order to manage business and property operations in Yardi’s residential smart home software. This role is responsible for training, support, problem solving, and promoting additional services to clients as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Implements the Yardi suite of software products with quality and consistency by assisting clients with system implementation, training, and technical support
  • Drives client satisfaction by promoting software adoption, offering best practices, and managing support cases
  • Acts as project manager for clients on all issue resolution and special projects
  • Works with Yardi internal resource teams to coordinate and provide implementation, training, upgrades, sales and development
  • Researches, analyzes and resolves software issues. Escalates issues to the correct teams as needed
  • Performs regular system and business process reviews to recommend trainings, actions and improvements. Ensures clients are getting performance and value from the product.
  • Works closely with software development and field operations teams to ensure quality delivery of software and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Economics or related field preferred
  • Experience setting and managing client expectations
  • Experience in a fast-paced, enterprise customer service environment. Prior experience with property management, real estate and home automation software highly desirable
  • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Project Management or Property Management experience/background preferred
  • Training experience an asset
  • Familiarity with IoT and home automation technologies highly desirable
  • Solid Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Knowledge in three of the following areas: Property Management, Microsoft Windows, Technical Support, SQL, HTML/ASP
  • Regular attendance and a regular work schedule are required
