The Associate Inventory Specialist is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping inventory from the warehouse. Will also be responsible for process inventory related tasks, and inventory management. Other various tasks assigned throughout the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Procure material from vendors
  • Receive new material from vendors and returned materials from technicians, enter into inventory
  • Ship materials from warehouse to technicians
  • Process transfers of materials among technicians
  • Manage shipment and order tracking
  • Process RMA’s / credits
  • Monitor material inventory levels and vendor availability of new materials
  • Inventory reconciliation of technician warehouses
  • Material and equipment troubleshooting, repair and bench testing
  • Validate work orders for material and labor
  • Communicate with vendors regarding new and existing product lines
  • Communicate with accounting related to work orders and inventory reconciliation
  • Pre-program and assemble meters, track programming labor and upload of programming details
  • Manage warehouse tool inventory
  • Support field technicians with material requests and compatibility questions
  • Operate Fork Lift

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DISTINCTIONS

  • High school Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must have sufficient familiarity with data manipulation and analysis tools
  • Exhibit effective communication skills, with both internal personnel and external clients and vendors
  • Exhibit high degree of organization and logical thinking. Show initiative, ability to make decisions, and provide guidance
  • Previous logistics experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook expected)
  • Fork lift operation experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks
  • Regular and consistent in office attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work at a computer monitors for extended periods of time
