We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player with a background and understanding of energy markets, sustainability and real estate to join Yardi’s YES Energy Team!

What you will do

  • Effectively communicate updates and opportunities for electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, and REC supply to clients
  • Understand the retail energy marketplace to facilitate client decision making
  • Conduct research and act as a resource regarding energy pricing and marketplace trends
  • Manage client energy accounts and provide technical support
  • Verify contract terms, adhere to previously agreed upon language and include correct data
  • Develop presentation materials to present to clients up to the C-suite
  • Provide ad hoc analyses based on client inquiries
  • Update and support company database.
  • Monitor energy market indicators and prepare market reports.
  • Create and maintain Excel financial models, interpret results, explain trends and anomalies.
  • Work with the client and internal resources to generate utility budgets and revenue projections.
  • Grasp the Yardi Smart Energy suite of services.
  • Be part of a great team and collaborate with team members across the organization

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
  • Intellectual curiosity in energy markets, sustainability, and/or real estate
  • Awesome written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate within the team regarding deadlines, strategy, and priorities
  • Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook and internet research skills.
  • Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional
  • Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities comfortably

What would be helpful

  • Experience with an energy supplier a plus but not necessary.
  • Certified Energy Procurement Professional or Certified Energy Managers a plus but not necessary.
