We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player with strong SQL skills and prior experience in software support and services to join our growing YES Energy team!

*This role can be based in Colorado Springs, CO or Roswell, GA!*

What you will do

  • Use your expertise to consult and provide support and direction to end users
  • Assist and support end users with providing an understanding of Yardi functional design, configuration, and client operational needs
  • Collaborate with clients to effectively identify and define application issues
  • Evaluate procedures and processes for product use and prepare and evaluate alternative workflow solutions
  • Create applications and customizations as needed to implement identified customer solutions
  • Document, test, and create or modify computer programs to improve product functionality
  • Serve as an escalation resource for complex application systems problems and sophisticated client requests
  • Validate and document solution effectiveness through program and quality assurance testing
  • Collaborate internally with analysts, designers, programmers, sales teams, and marketing teams with a focus on meeting client needs and maintaining high-level customer service standards
  • Monitor technical advancements, regulations, and best practices relevant to clients in the application of Yardi products
  • Perform special projects related to department training and client support as well as other duties as assigned
  • Be part of a great team and collaborate with team members across the organization

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalency
  • 2 years of experience in software support, analytics or services
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft operating and network system operation, relational databases, and SQL/Oracle
  • Strong technical and database management skills
  • Ability to exercise independent decision-making skills
  • Awesome written and verbal communication skills
  • Phenomenal customer service skills and desire to go the extra mile
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow processes
  • High comfort level troubleshooting and problem-solving issues
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability research and learn new concepts
  • Great people skills and the ability to effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities comfortably
  • Internal motivation and the ability to stay on task

What would be helpful to have

  • Experience with HTML/Cloud Services
  • Understanding of property management industry and best practices
  • Project management experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices
  • Basic understanding of Yardi Voyager software and Café platform and associated ancillary products
  • Understanding of network configuration and associated peripherals
  • Ability to effectively communicate highly technical topics or solutions to a non-technical audience
